Aaron Parry's visit to Pacific Coast

At the Senior School Chapel on Thursday 1 November, we were very blessed to have a young performer by the name of Aaron Parry come to minister to us. Aaron is a gifted vocalist and musician and entertained us with a mixture of singing top 40 songs and telling his personal story. At only 18 years of age, Aaron has faced a lot in his young life - from the life threatening illnesses of both his parents, to experiencing bullying and violence and with that loneliness and despair that almost led him to take his own life at the age of 13. Aaron has grown from a person that paid lip service to being a follower of Jesus to seeing the reality of God's faithfulness in his life and finally being able to trust God for himself. He now spends his time performing and delivering that message of hope to schools all over the country. I have never heard and seen such a buzz around Senior School - and overheard a student comment "He sings One Direction songs better than One Direction!" - the ultimate compliment?
